A highland "sky camp" on the Masumizu Plateau, best paired with the adjacent sky lift.
Masumizu Tenkū Campsite is a campground spread across the Masumizu Plateau on the western slopes of Mt. Daisen, produced by the outdoor gear brand OLD MOUNTAIN. Operating under the concept of "no construction, no restrictions on who can stay, no noisy atmosphere," the number of admitted groups is kept intentionally low to ensure a free and spacious experience for each party.
From this high-elevation plateau, guests can take in sweeping daytime views of Lake Nakaumi and the Sea of Japan, while after dark the lights of Yonago city and a sky full of stars come into view. During the season when the Tenkū (Sky) Lift is in operation, visitors can also ride the lift to the adjacent observation deck for an additional panoramic experience.
Check-in is handled at "Gochisoufarm Yama-no-Eki Daisenbō." As reservations are allocated by lottery, guests should check the official website and social media accounts for the latest information.
